The Role Comprises

Functional excellence in the movement/support of personnel and equipment to ensure that high standards are maintained
Interface with management team to ensure functional strategy and operational plans are aligned with business strategy and plans
New ventures support: as a 'one-stop shop' providing logistics input for all 'farm-in' opportunities that are considered
Contract Management including advice for selection of logistics services
Responsible for ensuring that operational logistics budgets are developed and met, including targets for operating costs and reliability.
Liaise with technical and finance teams regarding evaluation, procurement and delivery of materials and services.
Local support to Regional Director and Country Managers as required
Ensure all operations are carried out within Community HSE, Security Regulatory and anti-corruption policies
Responsible for people development and technology deployment
Manage all logistics field personnel including contractor and employees

Your background should include

Minimum high school diploma (further education preferred)
2-10 years of experience in logistics industry
5 years of experience in remote hostile environments
Good understanding of O&G exploration business
Experience in camp and drilling rig logistics for remote areas
Experienced in hiring of communications logistics and freight forwarding services
Good understanding of HSE management, Hazard identification, Regulation and Environment assessment.
A Strategic thinker with an ability to clearly visualize the big picture
Team Player with good interpersonal skills
Managing relationships (vendors and local governments, regulators)
Excellent Communication and presentation skills
